7.1 inches of snow fell during the storm on February 8/9, 2025 bringing the season total to 31.5 inches.

Here are the details of the storm on February 8/9, 2025:

As a strengthening system moved east along the coast of southern New England, periods of light snow developed 8:30 - 10:30 PM February 8th. Snow quickly turned moderate to briefly heavy at times overnight with peak snowfall rates reaching 1.0" per hour. Snow trended lighter and gave way to pockets freezing drizzle between 3 - 7 AM. After 7 AM, a final batch of steady of light to briefly moderate snow occurred before tapering 9 - 11 AM February 9th. Temperatures were between 23 - 27 degrees throughout the event.
